Who controls your information
Kosinu Limited is the data controller for the processing described here. Contact us at admin@kosinu.com.
Information we collect
When you request a free conversion review or contact us, we collect the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, work email address, landing-page URL, primary advertising channel, message, phone number, and later correspondence.
We also collect limited technical information needed to operate and protect the site, such as request timestamps, browser information, approximate network information, and security logs. When configured, PostHog records approved interaction events such as page views, CTA clicks, form progress, and successful submissions. We do not send form values, names, email addresses, landing-page URLs, or free text to PostHog.
How and why we use information
We use submitted information to respond to enquiries, prepare and deliver conversion reviews, arrange optional follow-up conversations, provide requested services, maintain business records, and protect the site from abuse.
We process review requests because you asked us to take steps before a possible engagement. We process service and client information to perform contracts and meet legal obligations. We use limited, privacy-conscious analytics for our legitimate interest in understanding whether the site works and improving its conversion journey. Where consent is required by applicable law, we will request it before using non-essential storage or tracking.
Service providers and international processing
We use service providers to host the site, deliver email, measure approved site events, record and deliver review videos, and offer optional scheduling. These providers may include Netlify, Resend, PostHog, Loom, and Calendly when those services are configured or used.
Some providers may process information outside Nigeria or the country where you live. We select providers with appropriate contractual and security commitments and use available transfer safeguards where applicable. Each provider processes information under its own documented terms and privacy practices.
Analytics, cookies, and local storage
The first release initializes PostHog with memory-only persistence, automatic capture disabled, person profiles disabled, and session recording disabled. This configuration does not intentionally place a PostHog identifier in persistent browser storage.
If we later introduce cookies, persistent analytics, or session recording, we will update this policy and provide any consent controls required by applicable law before enabling them. Following an external Calendly or Loom link may allow that provider to use cookies under its own policy.
How long we keep information
We normally keep unconverted review requests and related correspondence for up to 12 months after the last interaction. Client records are retained for the engagement and for any longer accounting, tax, dispute, or legal period that applies.
We configure analytics retention to the shortest practical period, with a target maximum of 12 months for this release. We may retain a minimized record when necessary to honor an opt-out, deletion, security, or legal obligation.
How we protect information
We use access controls, server-side validation, restricted service credentials, encrypted transport, abuse controls, and provider security features appropriate to the nature of the information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so we review our controls as the service changes.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may ask to be informed about our processing, access your information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, withdraw consent, and avoid decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Send a request to admin@kosinu.com. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing information. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or the privacy regulator where you live. We do not use submitted review information for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Children
Kosinu provides business services and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child submitted information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Links and client websites
Our site may link to client work, scheduling tools, video platforms, and other websites. Their operators control their own privacy practices. A link does not make Kosinu responsible for how another service processes information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised effective date on this page and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.
Contact and complaints
